Designed for the LVAD HeartMate kit.
The bag will firmly hold the batteries and the controller.
It has a shoulder strap and a hip belt, allowing it to be held in place.
The wide and thick pad on the shoulder strap lightens the weight but also balances the load so that it becomes less noticeable. We have developed this solution as a result of our collaboration with the Vad coordinator and based this technology on the users’ experience.
A pocket for your phone
On top of that, we have included an external zipped pocket where you can keep your phone, card or tissues.
We think it’s better to use shirts on a daily basis, but the LVAD bag is irreplaceable in certain situations. A visit to the hospital or the doctor’s requires quick access to the kit.
However, if you prefer the LVAD bag for everyday use, remember that keeping it clean is crucial. It is always with you: in the bathroom, kitchen or garden. Ensure to wash your LVAD bag on a regular basis and keep it covered whilst cooking.
We recommend carrying the bag on the hip belt to put as little strain on the spine as possible. The shoulder strap should be used to support the bag.
