Designed for the LVAD HeartMate kit.
The bag will firmly hold the batteries and the controller.
It has a shoulder strap and a hip belt, allowing it to stay securely in place.
The wide and thick pad on the shoulder strap lightens the weight and balances the load, making it less noticeable. This solution was developed in collaboration with LVAD coordinators and users, based on their experiences.
On top of that, we have included an external zipped pocket where you can keep your phone, card, or tissues.
The LVAD bag is indispensable in certain situations, such as hospital visits, where quick access to the kit is essential.
If you prefer the LVAD bag for daily use, remember to keep it clean. It is always with you—in the bathroom, kitchen, or garden. Ensure you wash your LVAD bag regularly and keep it covered while cooking.
We recommend carrying the bag on the hip belt to minimize strain on your spine. The shoulder strap should support the bag.
